SUMMARY:Sanctified By Grace
DESCRIPTION:The word grace denotes God’s unmerited love and favor toward human beings. It can be broadly understood as kindness or blessings from God that we don’t deserve. The word sanctify as it pertains to the life of a Christian means “to set a person apart for holiness” or “to make holy. \nThe Bible says that\, from the start of the Christian life\, believers are set apart for God’s holy purpose. God performs this work of sanctification once for all time: “And by that will\, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all” (Hebrews 10:10). Sanctification is a major requirement to be accepted by God. Until you are sanctified\, you may not be qualified to be in the presence of God. Our God is a Holy God  The good news have for you today is this\, You can be sanctified. No matter your sins and shortcomings\, the God of grace and unlimited mercies shall show you mercy\, justify you and sanctify you..

SUMMARY:Conference
DESCRIPTION:Conferences are catalysts for change. Show that we develop convictions not only from personal Bible study\, but also in environments away from our normal day-to-day life.  That is what conferences can provide.  Often more is accomplished at a 3-day retreat or conference meetings. \nConferences offer a time of bonding. Often at a conference or on the bus ride to the conference\, friendships are formed which bring people in the community together. \nConferences provide opportunities for training and hands-on ministry experience so that they can be sent back to different centres to do ministry. God can often do as much in the life of a person getting him to the conference as at the conference itself—sometimes more. \n.

SUMMARY:Worship
DESCRIPTION:Only God can judge a heart\, but if you are searching to have true worship in your life\, know that He is pleased with your love for Him and desires you to praise Him in Spirit and truth. This comes most of all in offering your daily life as a sacrifice of honor to Him. Even those small moments of selflessness\, thanksgiving\, or pointing back to the Lord in conversations can in fact be beautiful acts of worship. The Bible places a high emphasis on glorifying the One and only who deserves our praise\, Jesus. \nWe can prepare our hearts before worship by praying and asking God to enable us to fully focus on Him and learn what He wants us to learn. We can listen to worship music before we get through the door to begin praising Him at home or in the car. We can read or reflect on the Bible before going to a service. We can ask the Lord to soften our hearts to provide offerings as an act of worship.  Colossians 3:17 says\, “And whatever you do\, whether in word or deed\, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus\, giving thanks to God the Father through him \nIf someone is asking what instruments and actions are the most appropriate in a service\, it is vital to remember that the Lord looks upon the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). With this in mind\, I believe a foundational Scripture verse for correct worship is found in John 4:23-24\, “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth\, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit\, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

SUMMARY:The Power of Prayer
DESCRIPTION:The power of prayer comes directly from God. We can use it freely due to Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. \nWe are all aware of what prayer can do for us. Praying helps us grow closer to God\, reminding us of His incredible power\, grace\, and mercy. However\, sometimes we aren’t aware of the power of prayer. Sometimes don’t we wonder how a simple prayer can grant us whatever we need? Why is it that uttering a simple request to God reassures us and removes all our anxiety and worries about tomorrow? Honestly\, how powerful is prayer? \n  \nPraying reminds us that God is all-powerful and that nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37) when we surrender it all to Him. When we pray to God\, we acknowledge that God is all we need. Nothing in this world could hinder God from displaying His incredible power. Often we look for larger-than-life miracles for us to remember that our God is all-powerful. We forget that God continually works through big or small blessings in our lives. \n \nGod encourages His people to come together and pray. God wants us all to go to him for wisdom (James 1:5) and to pray persistently (Luke 18:1) because God wants us to depend on Him and to have a genuine relationship with Him. It also says in Hebrews 4:16 that we are told to pray in confidence so that God may grant us mercy and grace in our time of need. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross\, we can now come into God’s presence without consulting priests or prophets. We can talk to God on our own and hear His leading directly from God.

SUMMARY:Group Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:As we encounter God’s Word together\, we have an opportunity to share our different perspectives and insights and are broadened because of the interaction. More information is retained when there is active involvement\, so biblical literacy is enhanced. Application and accountability bring understanding that moves God’s Word from the intellect to the heart. Transformation is encouraged (Romans 12:2)\, and our lives are changed. When our lives are changed\, the lives of those around us are changed as well \nGetting involved in a small group or Bible study can help enrich our lives as Christians and develop our faith.  For some\, joining a small group can seem intimidating\, time consuming\, or simply not important compared to other obligations. But\, people who are part of small groups feel more connected to their church\, find ways to serve\, and have a support system they can depend on for prayer and encouragement. When we look to the Bible\, we find guidance and insight into the significance and benefits of being part of a godly community of believers. \nThe early church is quite an inspiration and provides us with rich wisdom and examples about how to connect with other believers and how to be the body of Christ. This passage in Acts gives us a beautiful illustration of the unity and harmony that can be found among believers\, and what we should strive for today. God’s word reminds us that we should worship together\, eat and fellowship with one another\, and enjoy the company of our brothers and sisters in Christ. It is truly an honor to be part of the body of Christ\, and when we are together\, we bring honour and glory to the Lord.

SUMMARY:Peace
DESCRIPTION:According to the Bible\, the peace of God\, “which transcends all understanding\,” is the harmony and calmness of body\, mind\, and spirit trusting in the power and grace of God.  Nearly all of the letters of Paul start with the phrase “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Throughout scripture\, we find that peace is defined as a blessing from God and harmonious with His character. \nThe peace of God can be described as a tranquil state of appreciation and faith when we submit to and trust the commandments of God and Christ. It requires a mixture of humility and courage to experience God’s peace\, seeking beyond the mere abilities of our own understanding. May God himself\, the God of peace\, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit\, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23. \nThe scripture verse of 2 Peter 1:2 encourages this growing relationship with God saying\, “May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.”

SUMMARY:Discipleship
DESCRIPTION:Discipleship is a crucial part of the Christian walk. Not only are we called to be discipled by the Holy Spirit; we are called to disciple and be discipled by the body of Christ. So what does discipleship mean anyways? In the Christian sense\, discipleship is just a word for the process of becoming like Christ. Our aim as Christians should be to mirror Jesus in every aspect of our lives. \nIn John 8 verses 31 through 32\, Jesus says\, “If you hold to my teaching\, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” We must press into discipleship so that we are truly holding to the teachings of Jesus and through living out His teachings\, we will be set free. Furthermore\, in Matthew 28 verse 19\, Jesus commands us to\, “go and make disciples of all nations.” This statement is monumental for the kingdom of God and makes it clear that it is impossible to be a true follower of Jesus outside of discipleship. \nGrowing in spiritual maturity is no accident. Being discipled by the Holy Spirit and by other believers is a life-long journey of being fashioned into who the Creator always intended for us to be. As the Holy Spirit continues to refine us\, we have the choice to lean in or reject His leadership. Whether it’s in our thought life\, our worldview\, or the way we love those around us\, the work of sanctification is never complete. As followers of Jesus\, it is important that we are aware of the areas where we aren’t completely aligned with Him and be willing to allow Him and others to help us along the journey. A decision to lean in will always lead to more freedom and growing intimacy with the Lover of our souls.
