The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. — Psalm 18:2 David talks about all the goodness of God and of what God has done for him. He speaks of God’s protection, God’s provision, God’s salvation, God’s strength. In other words, in each and every situation that we could possibly find ourselves in, the answer is God! If you find yourself in trouble, God is the answer. If you find yourself in sin, God is the answer. When you find yourself weak, the answer is God! This relationship has proven to be a base, a foundation, providing strength during a time of trial, help during a time of need, and confidence in the unknown future that we all face as we go about our lives. This relationship has also provided a perspective on the world and the universe that answers many of the fundamental.
