- What is a God-given vision? A God-vision is an idea, a project that God has inspired you with for the purpose of executing it. God usually inspires people with divine ideas and He expects these divine ideas to be successfully executed.
As humans, our life on earth is for a particular purpose that can only be discovered through the knowledge (Word) and by the help of the Light of God, which is the Holy Spirit.
Everyone is sent for a purpose which can only be revealed by God Almighty through His Spirit. The Bible says, “We are ambassadors for Christ” – 2 Corinthians 5:20. As an ambassador, you have been sent for an official mission, which is to spread the Good News. Any life outside our official mission and vision is a waste of time. Don’t waste your time… Keep on doing the work of God!
Your God-given vision is the reason for your being here on earth. Until you esteem it more important than any other thing, you won’t be courageous enough to pursue it. If you want to accomplish the vision of God upon your life, you should esteem it more than any other thing in your life (Matthew 6:33). God has sent you for one thing: that’s to accomplish His plan upon your life. Without God’s plan upon your life, you wouldn’t have been here on earth. Jesus said, ‘I have come to do the will of the Father’ – John 6:38. In other words, the will of God – the plan He had created long before Jesus was born on earth – was the reason Jesus came to earth (John 3:16). In the same way, God’s purpose upon your life is the reason for you being here on earth. When we receive Christ, we submit ourselves to that plan that God has for our lives; as the Apostle Paul says, “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” – Galatians 2:20.
